Some facts about our industry:
- One third of seniors leaving the hospital will require post-acute care
- One third of patients referred to acute rehab, skilled nursing or home health would achieve similar results in less intensive settings
- Over 11% of Medicare dollars are spent on SNF and home health. At least 40% of that cost can be eliminated without impacting quality or outcomes
